My name is Chicki Runnquist  at Kennel Zchatsaj´s

I have had dogs around me all my life.My own first dog was bought in 1966,a German Sheperd.Soon there were three of them and also a Cocker Spaniel before I,in 1982 bought my first Borzoi Leicro´s Russian Zchats ( Ch Leicro`s Zsplendid Copy x Ravenna)

Zsplendid Copy was born in quarantine in Finland and a son of Leicros`s import from US Vindra´s Vanity. Zchats was a big and powerful bitch  82 cm high  White with brindle head.

In 1985 i bought my first  dog from Finland she was Red & White and here name was Polongain Karinja (Ch Kaznan Misek x Ch Polongain Efrosina) She easy became Champion and we had some realy nice wins around the years  up in high age too So we had many great years together Karinja died in 1997 in an age of ower 12 years.

My first litter were born Maj 26 1986 By then I had been a dog owner fore 20 years ,so i think it was about time.After a lot of searching I found a suitable male Int Nordic Ch Polongain Fjor

(Ch Kaznan Dugin x Ch Polongain Efrosina) So I breed Zchats to him and got a litter of six 3 +3  and they were all big and  wellcoted.

Fin Ch Angelowa,Swed Ch Awita and Swed Ch Swed Winner 91 Alonso,

Angelowa went to Finland as a mating puppy where she soon received here Finnish championtitle. She became BOS at the big Finnish Speciality twice and she also has BIS Progency Group and BIS 2 Progency group at the Finnish SpecialityShe has give birth to two unique litters in Finland Polongain P and S litters with Show,Track  and Lure-Coursig dogs.

They have received many  titles Derby Winners L-C Champions  Star Runner Allround Borzoi Champions Group and BIS winners,only to mention a few.In their turn here puppies have been used fore breeding here at Zchatsajs in the B-C,and D litters and at kennel Bolshajan and Budnnojes in Finland.

Swed Ch Swed Winner 91 Alonso sired two litters where two of his offsprings have been used fore breeding at kennel Lhaghana in Denmark and here at Zchatsajs in my F litter.

In 1986 I also bought my first male It was Polongain Jura ( Ch Polongain Fjor x Ch Polongain Carenina) Hi became Nordic Ch  and were used at stud at kennel Orakel, Majorow´s Timirinja´s and Polongain. Ritva-Liisa Lundberg at Timirinja´s kennel used him twice at here female Don-Furstevas Czarina This resulted in 9 of Timirinjas Champions ,among others the two wellknown brothers INT NORDIC ESTONIA CH TIMIRINJAS BIRIK CZARINJIN  Winner of 18 CAC and 5 CACIB before his third year Hi is owned by Marita Tuominen Kennel Polongain Finland and INT NORD JAP CH TIMIRINJAS BIRKOWITCH  owned by Monika Willman kennel Zimistraja Sweden.

JURA  have been the sire and grandsire of a lots of top winning dogs in Sweden fore a lots of year Hi was also Top Stud doge fore some year  We will always remember him...

The next stud dog I bought  was Can Ch Bherov´s Dostoevsky ( Ch Elista Dragan Kaspar x Bherows Vedma)  Dusty also became Swedish champion and he was used at stud at kennel Polongain,kennel Tovarisjtjis and Timirinjas  Dusty had many qualites wich i hoped he would pass on to his offspring,but hi was also somewhat small,wich also effected the breeding.

This is why I myself never used  anything from him.

Hi was grandsire to Borzoi Ringens Speciality winner 2000 in Sweden.

It was not until January 1994 that my B-litter was born. I then leased Ch Timirinjas Azzandra Barinina (a Jura daughter) from kennel Timirinja to inseminate here with sperm from Angelowa´s son Fin Ch Polongain Pjotr.At that time the border between Sweden and Finland was closed and an insemination was therefore the  only possibility.The insemination resulted in two big boys Ch Zchatsajs Banzur-Brigand and Banzaj-Mihai  Banzaj Mihaj sired my F-litter

My C-litter 1+6 was born maj 31 1994 after Angelowas daughter  Polongain Pamjatka who was mated with Ch Timirinjas Birik Czarinjin four of the puppies have gained Champion titles,

Can Ch Chracker -Jack ,Chazza,Chutka and Chegorowa, Chracker-Jack and Charamel went to Canada  charamel gave birth to two litters before she came back to Sweden,  Ch Chazza lives at kennel Zvetzia and last year she gave birth to litter after Pat Murphys Oaklara Espresso.

Charinja and Chantilly dont like shows. And in Maj we are celebrating the C-girls 7 birthday

They have give us so much..The C-Litter have received BIS BOB BOS Group placement

The D- litter 4+2 was born November 15 1995  Polongain Pamjatka x Fin Est ch Polongain Romanoff Dhundii and Dhana went to Canada Dhundii became Canadian Champion before two years old Dhana became  No 3 Lure-Coursing dog in Canada 1997 No 4 in 1998 and No 2 1999 she have been taking 3 BIF and have an Field Ch X title

Dhjalmar lives in North Norway He has reseived four CAC BOB BOS and Group placement

He love fishing with his owners..

Dhjelgo is Lure-Coursing licenced  and lives at kennel Allettes

Dhuina lives at kennel Zvetzia Shee to have received CAC

Dhansaj lives here at the kennel and is our clown.

Fin Ch Polongain Smeagol moved here  and became swedish champion  ” Sepe was a son of Angelowa

The E-litter 5+2 was born november 19 my loving girl Chegorowa was mated to Annica Nilssons import male from Henk Karmelk in Holland Swed Fin Ch Ardagans Yondalar

Efim  went over to kennel Polongain He is a CAC winner and the sire of Polongain´s F-litter

Erdagan has remained here at Zchatsajs he have been taking hes Lure-Coursing licence and he have also been taking show CAC he is the sire of kennel Allettes C-litter  the other ones in the litter are living family life.

The same day november 19 my F-litter was born too only one boy  mother is a daughter to Z .Alonso  Rytzars Claudia x Z.Banzaj Mihai   named Falldo-Fanzaj

In January 2000 my latest import from Finland arrived to Zchatsajs Budennojes Entrancing Earl  a grand son to Smeagol. He was shown twice last year ,which resulted in a CAC,BOS and best male 2 Hi sired my last litter  the G-litter

In September 9  2000 my G-litter 3+4 was born  It is after Budennojes Entrancing Earl x Zchatsajs Swedish Charamel  All the puppies have received very good homes Two went to USA the rest are here in Sweden  and we will see what became of them in the future.

My next litter is planned fore 2002 after my Erdagan daughter Allettes Chaos of Zchatsajs. I have already started looking fore a suitable male,but nothing has yet bee decided.

So far its born 36 puppies here at Zchatsajs  29 of them are over two years 10 are champions

I have got 1 bad bite and tree dogs have got missing teeth.

  I like the Borzoi to be a big, magnificent and impressiv dog capable of taking part in show,coursing as well as family life

And to the end of the story I will never forget the World dog show in Helsinki 1998

The BIS Progency group went to TIMIRINJAS BIRIK CZARINJIN   ( a JURA son)

With Ch Polongain Vronsky,  Ch Ana-Bell, Ch Zchatsajs Chazza and Ch Zchatsajs Chutka 

In the group  that was payment fore all the years ..
